Paul Ita runs Notch Consulting, a Massachusetts-based research company dedicated to the market research needs of the global specialty chemicals industry. Mr. Ita focuses on raw materials for the global tire and rubber industries, with a particular focus on carbon black, silica, and rubber chemicals. Through Notch, he publishes the Carbon Black World Data Book and the Carbon Black Quarterly Newsletter.
Calvin graduated from Dalian University of Technology and got his MS degree. In the past 15 years, he worked in Michelin, ExxconMobil and Cabot. His expertise covers material and processing technology development, technical service, continuous improvement for tire manufacturing, and technology team management. He had given over 100 presentations in customer seminars or industry conferences. Calvin is now the applications development manager and lead scientist at Cabot Asia Technology Center.
Zhang bin, senior engineer, graduated from Yancheng institute of technology. In the past 20 years, he worked in Sumitomo. His expertise covers tire production technology, OE supporting technology, and technology team management. He is a member of the National Technical Committee for Tire and Rim Standardization and has participated in the drafting and revision of many GB standards for tires.
Martin von Wolfersdorff is a consultant specialising in alternative rubber fillers and tire pyrolysis. He is in contact with over 320 tire pyrolysis companies globally and advises tyre manufacturing associations, tire manufacturers, tire collectors, refineries, pyrolysis technology providers & operators on the global tire pyrolysis industry and the marketing of recovered carbon black. Previously, Martin worked in the carbon black industry with Cabot, in the custom colour masterbatch industry with Americhem and in the white pigment industry with Huntsman Pigments. Martin holds a Dipl. Ing. (Univ.) degree in chemical engineering from the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany.
Mr. Zhao Kai, senior engineer, graduated from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University with a MBA Master degree. Currenty, Mr Zhao serves as Executive Vice President of China Association of Circular Economy (CACE) and Member of the Beijing Xicheng District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He also serves as Expert of National Green Development Fund Expert Advisory Committee, and the evaluation of national social organisations of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and as member of the National Standardization Technical Committee 275 on Environmental Protection Products (SAC/TC275), the National Technical Committee 415 on Product Recycle Fundamentals and Management (SAC/TC415), the National Technical Committee 459 on Energy System (SAC/TC459), and the National Energy Conservation Center Experts Group. Mr. Zhao has respectively won the second and third prize for the China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award, and ministerial recognition of the Former China Light Industry Federation. He has been engaged in energy saving and circular economy related promotion work for a long time and has rich experience in international cooperation.
Chen Xiaoyan has been actively exploring high-quality development related to ecological priorities and green development, leading her team to develop the internationally leading "intelligent green cracking for waste tires and carbon black deep processing equipment". She has also lead the construction of three "Industry 4.0" intelligent factories for waste tire recycling. Her work has been helping the industry to develop in a green and sustainable way.
Weidong li, male, born in 1966, graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University, Capital University of Economics and Business and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and obtained a bachelor of Engineering, a master of economics and a Doctor of philosophy degree. He is currently the president of China Tyre Retreading and Recycling Association and has served as deputy secretary general, Secretary general and vice president of China Association of Auctioneers. He has been engaged in economic and trade industry management for a long time, and has rich theoretical and practical experience in association construction and management.
Andy Yuan is the Business Development Director at Enrestec. Having joined Enrestec since 2010, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the industry with innovative pyrolysis technology applied on ELTs (end-of-life tires), both in Taiwan and across Asia, with a global outlook. In 2019, Andy took charge of the Eco-Infinic project in Thailand, overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art pyrolysis plant with an impressive capacity of 100,000 tons of ELTs processed annually. Additionally, in 2021, he successfully managed the expansion of Enrestec's Taiwan plant, elevating the total processing capacity to 60,000 tons of ELTs in Taiwan.
Wang Hong, a member of the CPC, senior engineer, graduated from Dalian University of Technology. He is currently the general manager of Qingdao Black Cat New Material Research Institute Co., LTD, previously awarded the title of Excellent Young Science and Technology Worker in Fushun City; the Second Prize of Liaoning Province's New Product Award and Fushun City Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, and has published 23 personal patent papers, 13 scientific research achievements were transformed into carbon black production technology, and 2 technological achievements have been transformed into new products that have already been put into use.
